A long time resident of the San Ramon Valley, Carolyn brings a unique mixture of business and non-profit experience to the Chamber. Her business experience includes upper management for one of the nation's largest insurance companies as well as later owning and operating her insurance agency in San Ramon. After selling her agency in 2001, she went on to a successful career in real estate. She served on the boards of the San Ramon Education Foundation, the San Ramon Rotary, the San Ramon Valley YMCA, and the Danville Chamber of Commerce. She was the President of the SRVEF from 2003 to 2005 and chaired the Primo's Run for Education 1999-2000. She is a graduate of Leadership San Ramon, class of 1995.

In 2007 Carolyn was honored as the 2007 American Business Women's Bay Area Council's Business Woman of the Year. She was also honored as the first Business Woman recipient of the Juanita Haugen "Women Making a Difference Award by the California Elected Women's Association. She is currently the Vice President of SaveCASchools.org, a non-profit that encourages local real estate agents to donate a portion of their commissions to the local school district to help fund local school programs - district wide. Carolyn has 4 children: Jessica and Spencer are both grown and married. Lindsay and McKenney attend high school locally. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys her daughter's activities, which include soccer, art and theater, and competing throughout California with their Arabian horses. Carolyn is also a patient advocate for individuals stricken with Lyme Disease.

Kathy has lived in Danville for the past 18 years where she resides with her husband, Scott and their two sons, Mike and Chris.

She has held various volunteer leadership positions:

• Carnival Chair

• Race Chair for the Primo's Run

• Finance Chair for the Primo's Run

• Promotions Chair for the Primo's Run

Most recently she has worked as the VP of the Foundation. Her responsibilities include the managing the Affiliates, Board Member Orientation and Advisor to the Primo's Run. Kathy is a member of the San Ramon Rotary where she serves on the Board as the International Director. Her responsibilities include Managing International projects and International visitors. Kathy has a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Masters Degree in Industrial Relations. She has been operating a consulting business for the past nine years. Her business specializes in training development, needs assessment, meeting and event planning and project management. Scott works hard to help families plan for their future as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial.
